Pessoa, Fado, olive oil and... Christmas-New Year
This year, the Christmas break allowed me to meet a new family: Miguels! Approximately 70 people - resticted to the closest, but quite a few were missing... It was nice, fun, warm and a bit intimidating. Wonderful altogether. And the discovery of Lisbon enchanted me. No wonder with such a guide!
A lovely time, a place to go back to, a brilliant start of the year. Prosit !
We spent New Year in Evora, in Quinta dos Frades de Graca, a house of Miguels family, 120 km south of Lisbon in the Alentejo region. Olive trees, soft hilly landscapes, a city retracing Europes history (Roman temple, medieval houses, manuelino palaces, neo-classical buildings) in prime state.
A lovely time, a place to go back to, a brilliant start of the year. Prosit !

Super, on peut donc d'ors et deja completer notre plan de vie. Donc de septembre a juin on est en suisse, et ensuite on migre pour la belle saison dans le sud-ouest de l'europe. Nous on s'arrete a biarritz et toi et Mig vous vous tapez les embouteillages a la frontiere espagnole. Bon plan, non?
A part ca, tres tres tres jolies photos. Lisboa est parait-il une ville fantastique, ce que tu sembles confirmer. Et puis les oliviers... ca c'est pas arbres de coiffeurs (bon ok on evite le sujet pileux).

Oh, isn't Lisbon just wonderful? I love it soooooo much. Wish I'd lived there, not Lagos, would have been so much happier. The vinho tinto from Alenteijo is my fave wine in Portugal! Beijos!
