I was fortunate to spend the first half of March in Austria and Miguel joined me for the second week. Stephanie and Esben came from Singapore, Andreas (Esbens brother) from Vancouver, Ilse and our mother from Vienna, my cousin Marlene and her family from Basel (including my god-daughter Agathe from France) and it became a great family reunion around merry tables and on skis! Unfortunately the weather was not very sunny but we had a frantastic time.

Skiing is also the time when we indulge in the typical Vorarlberger dishes: Germknoedel, Apfelstrudel, Spaetzle, Schnitzel and it goes on and on and on... Time to go back to the gym!

Agathe spent a week with Marlene, Alex, Lara and Paul to be exposed to German since she learns it in school. Even though the first day was tough, she seemed to have enjoyed her stay and ade good progress. Now Lara has to lear French!

See you next year on the slopes!
